Countdown to the GFAF Expo

Time to state the obvious: as a food blogger, I really, really love food. Free food, expensive food, salty food, spicy food... if it is food (and gluten free, of course) I will likely eat it. So, it should come as little surprise that I find few things more exciting than the prospect an event dedicated to gluten free food. And I'm lucky enough to be heading to one. On October 15 and 16, I will be attending the Gluten Free Allergy Free (GFAF) Expo in Secaucus, NJ as en expo blogger, and oh man am I excited. 

But, let me calm down for a second so we can talk specifics. It will be held at the Meadowlands Expo Center, which is just a stone's throw away from NYC- so, not a bad location, in my book at least. The expo is being presented by Udi's and Glutino, two brands on which I've personally relied since the early days of my diagnosis in 2003. The list of vendors  and exhibitors looks amazing. I'm talking Kinnikinnick (another old favorite), BFree, Bakery on Main, San-J, Van's, and the list goes on. If I haven't gained at least five pounds by the end of the weekend, I will be sorely disappointed. Off the expo floor there are going to be a host of really interesting discussions and classes- you can find the complete schedule here. 

I'm definitely expecting it to be an amazing weekend. And, I want to be able to meet as many of y'all as possible! In the slightly-less-than one year I've had my Instagram and this blog, I've had the opportunity to connect with so many amazing people who understand themselves what it's like living with Celiac, or other food restrictions and autoimmune diseases.
